Using our mobile app
§ 1 Information on the processing of personal data
(1) In the following, we are providing information on the processing of personal data when using our mobile app. Personal data is all data that can be related to a natural person, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behaviour. In doing so, we would like to inform you about our processing processes and at the same time comply with the legal obligations, in particular those arising from the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

You can contact our data protection officer at datenschutz@winkhaus.de or at our postal address with the suffix “the data protection officer”.
(3) When you contact us by email or via a contact form, we save the data you provide (your email address, if applicable your name and phone number) to answer your questions. If the request is assigned to a contract, we delete the data arising in this context after the deadlines for the term of the contract. Otherwise, we delete the data that arises after storage is no longer necessary, at the latest three years after the data has arisen at the end of the general limitation period, or restrict the processing if legal retention obligations exist.
(4) If we use contracted service providers for individual functions of our service, or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, we will always carefully select and monitor these service providers and inform you in detail about the respective processes below. We also outline the defined criteria for the storage period. If our service providers or partners are based in a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you of the consequences in the description of the offer.
§ 2 Your rights
(1) You have the following rights against a controller with respect to your personal data:
– Right to information
– Right to rectification or erasure
– Right to restriction of processing
– Right to object to processing
– Right to data portability
– Right to object to advertising and withdraw consent.
(2) You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority for data protection with respect to our processing of your personal data.
§ 3 Processing of personal data when using our mobile app
(1) When downloading the mobile app, the required information is transferred to the app store, in particular the user name, email address and customer number of your account, time of download, payment information and the individual device code. In addition, the app store independently collects various data and provides you with analysis results. We have no influence over this data processing and are not responsible for it. We only process the data to the extent necessary for downloading the mobile app to your mobile device.
(2) When using the mobile app, we process the following personal data in order to enable convenient use of the functions. If you wish to use our mobile app, we process the following data, which is technically necessary for us to provide you with the functions of our mobile app and to ensure stability and security. This processing by us is therefore essential. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR: 3
• Bluetooth ID of the active key
• Information about door names
(4) The mobile app does not use cookies.
§ 4 Objection or revocation to the processing of your data
(1) If you have given your consent to the processing of your data, you can withdraw it at any time. Such a revocation affects the lawfulness of the processing of your personal data after you have expressed it to us. The lawfulness of the processing of your data up to the time of your revocation remains unaffected.
(2) Insofar as we base the processing of your personal data on the balancing of interests, you can object to the processing. This is the case if the processing is not necessary in particular for the performance of a contract with you, which we will present in the description of the functions. When exercising such an objection, we ask you to explain the reasons why we should not process your personal data as we have done. We will then examine the situation and either adjust or stop the data processing or show you our compelling legitimate grounds for continuing the processing.
(3) Of course, you can object to the processing of your personal data for advertising and data analysis purposes at any time. The best way to object to advertising is to contact us using the contact details provided above.
