More than 100 employees and numerous students, who also stay overnight, enter and leave the approximately 20,000 square metre area, which houses both the state fire brigade command and the state fire brigade school. This requires a locking system that offers a high degree of flexibility and at the same time works quickly and reliably. It should also be as easy to use as possible. With Winkhaus blueSmart, the key is inserted into the electronic cylinder as usual and turned - and the door opens. The maintenance-free keys are resistant to hand disinfectants and can even withstand a wash.
The locking system is administrated using the blueControl software, which is managed by the IT department of the State Fire Brigade Association. Programming of keys is simple and access rights can be flexibly accommodated. If a key is lost, the corresponding key can be blocked quickly and easily with just a few clicks on the PC.
A special highlight of blueSmart is the virtual network, which helps to convert to the electronic system quickly and without interruption, as the flush-mounted cylinders in the doors do not require any cabling and communicate wirelessly with each other. Long battery life of up to ten years ensures long-term reliable operation with minimal maintenance. The event memory of the cylinders is also generously dimensioned so that the last 2,000 locking operations can be traced with date and time in the event of theft.
