Treasures safely guarded in the National Archives
Krakow, Poland
One of Europe’s most modern buildings is secured with electronic locking technology from Winkhaus. The National Archive in Krakow offers 14,000 square metres of vast exhibition spaces, conservation and digitalisation workshops, a book binder and a multimedia reading room. Those interested in history have access to stocks that fill 70 kilometres of shelf space.
The locking system is managed centrally using Winkhaus blueControl Professional software. It consists of 138 door cylinders, 105 passive and active keys and a reader with touch keypad. Together, they form a virtual network that offers reliable protection for the valuable collection in order to preserve it for future generations.
